Excessive use of your smatphone is still bad for you, no matter how you whine about it. Before sleep - the blue light will fuck up your circadian rythm, basically it doesn't allow you to fall asleep - Constant flow of information will exhaust your brain, you will never feel actually fresh and well rested. Constant feeling of tiredness will block you from actually doing useful things, and you will most probably just scroll your phone again. This will also make you anxious and depressed. - Since you consume tiny bits of unrelated informations in basically every free second, your brain will learn not to find any connection between them, thus resulting in an inability to concentrate for long or to think in logical steps.
